Living Rock Church COVID-19 policies and procedures
The health and safety of our congregation is a priority for us in all decisions made. For this reason, we have laid out guidelines below that we believe are necessary to be followed based on the information given to us by state government and health officials. We currently have service every Sunday in-person at 11am & on Wednesdays online at 8:30pm on Facebook live.
Please see all of our guidelines below. Thank you for following these guidelines for your safety, as well as the safety of others!
We are still having Church online if you are not comfortable returning and encourage you to join us for Midweek and Sunday service live.
Important: The building will open at 10:45am. Only volunteers serving Sunday morning will be permitted inside before that time.
Masks are recommended but not required. We will have a section in the sanctuary for those wearing masks, and a section for those who prefer not to.
Individuals should observe social distancing at all times, which entails maintaining a minimum of 6-foot distance from others. We ask you to do this as a courtesy and out of respect to those around you.
Do not hug, shake hands, or partake in any other form of close contact. With social distancing in mind, avoid congregating in groups.
Vulnerable individuals are encouraged to continue utilizing church online during this time.
Cleanliness and Hygiene
If you are sick, please do not come to church. Join us for church online, instead.
If you have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, have traveled internationally or to a domestic hot spot, please stay home and join us online.
Our sanitation team will disinfect all surfaces before and after every service.
Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the facility. We will have sanitation stations around the building.
Kids and Students
Until further notice, Rock Kids Children’s Church, Rock Kid’s Tiny Tots (Toddler Class) and Fresh Life Youth will not be meeting on Sundays.
Children & youth will be with their parents in the main sanctuary.
Our doors will open at 10:45 sharp, no earlier and no later. Upon entry, a masked dream team member will seat you and your family immediately.
The lobby will be closed. Individuals will be asked to move directly to and from the main entrance and sanctuary with no congregating in the lobby.
Staff will be monitoring to encourage safe social distancing at all times.
Water fountains will not be available for use.
To allow for appropriate social distancing, a maximum of 4 individuals will be permitted in each restroom at one time. A staff member will monitor this from the halls.
Sanctuary and Seating
Upon entry, you will be seated by a Dream Team Member 6-feet away from non-family members in the sanctuary.
We will not exceed 50% seating capacity in the sanctuary, to allow for proper distancing.
We will not pass offering containers. Unless giving online, by text-to-tithe, or our app, Offering will take place at the end of service and individuals will be able to give contact-free by dropping envelopes in containers in the back of the sanctuary on the way out.
Offering envelopes will be available in their usual places. At the entryway of the sanctuary and on the tables in the foyer.
Service will be dismissed by section and individuals will be directed how to exit the building, to allow proper distancing.
Dream Team members will assist with the exiting process, from a distance.
Individuals will be encouraged to exit the building immediately, since congregating is not permitted.
